Located in the historic Palác Akropolis in Prague’s Žižkov district, this 470 m² office floor renovation was designed by Marco Maio Architects as a contemporary shared workspace. The cultural character of the building forms a quiet underlayer to a warm and legible interior, suited to today’s working rhythms.
A central hub functions as both a social core and a circulation spine, with natural light defining a clear axis across the floor. Red ceramic surfaces, natural oak elements, and soft lighting establish a cohesive and inviting atmosphere, while glass partitions allow natural light to flow through all spaces, supporting both focused work and collaboration. The result is a balanced, understated, and enduring workplace that carries the building’s cultural spirit into the present.
