Niels Marcus Pedersen is the CEO of Marcus Pedersen and fourth generation. He now leads the company with many of the same ideas about production and quality that were born more than 100 years ago. Niels has a background as Mechanical engineer from Aalborg University and positions at the Danish design companies Vipp and Paustian.

Marcus Pedersen is a Danish design company specialised in designing, developing and manufacturing products and furniture for airports and public areas. They provides comprehensive and integrated solutions that are characterised by high quality, aesthetics, and functionality that corresponds with the modern user’s needs.
Marcus Pedersen wants to create tomorrow’s user experiences in airports by designing and developing the next generation of products that the passengers interact with on their way through the airport.
Their work is conducted in the cross field between design, engineering and craftsmanship, where the capabilities are represented by a young, multidisciplinary team. Marcus Pedersen believes in a user-centered design process, and they always involves the end users in their projects – from initial research to prototype testing.
The roots of the company go back to 1907, when Marcus Pedersen started the company in Aalborg, Denmark. The company was known for carpentry work of a very high quality. With the industrial development in Denmark, Marcus Pedersen went from being a traditional craft business to a modern carpentry without compromising on the quality of the products.
