Ph.D Mihnea Ghilduș, product designer, founder of Dizainar.ro, Creative Director at DZNR Studio, University lector at UAD Cluj-Napoca

Trained as a product designer at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Mihnea continued his educational path at the Academy of Arts and Design in Stuttgart, Germany, where he completed a Master’s degree in Integral Studies. In 2014, he earned a PhD in medical design at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, where he also taught as an associate lecturer between 2008–2016. Since 2022, he has been a lecturer at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca.

He works with enthusiasm in the fields of environmental and graphic design, but his professional passion remains product design.
In 2012, he launched Dizainăr, the Romanian design platform that he manages with the mindset of a “creative householder,” together with a team of communication and design specialists.

Over more than 10 years of activity, the Dizainăr team has built and consolidated a brand recognized on the Romanian design and interior design market and has promoted over 200 Romanian designers with more than 1,000 products conceived and produced in Romania.

In 2024, he launched the YouTube channel “& design” (@sidesign-tv) – a natural extension of his role as a professor, designed as a space where dialogue about design comes to life, connecting professional practice with education and contemporary visual culture.
