Since its founding in 2002, feld72 has been active in the fields of architecture, urbanism, and art. feld72 (partners: Anne Catherine Fleith, Michael Obrist, Mario Paintner, Richard Scheich, Peter Zoderer) carries out numerous projects of various dimensions in a national and international context, ranging from master plans, urban studies, buildings, interior design, and exhibitions to urban strategies and large-scale interventions in the urban environment. Its award-winning works are remarkable for their socially responsible, innovative, and sustainable approach to architecture and urbanism.
Identifying and strengthening the potential of individual locations and (social) environments is the basis of feld72’s projects. feld72’s current projects include numerous residential projects in Vienna (NeuLeopoldau, Quartiershaus in Helmut-Zilk-Park, WoGenQuartiershaus, Kapellenhof, Viola Park, Cotton Residence), and they recently completed the new headquarters of the Austrian Post in Vienna (with SchenkerSalvi Weber), residential buildings in the Alps (Eppan and Brunnenfeld residential complexes), educational buildings in South Tyrol (Terenten educational ensemble, Niederolang kindergarten), and buildings in the Quartier am Spielbudenplatz in Hamburg (subcultural cluster and co-housing).
