Mario Zeppetzauer is a professor, industrial designer and co-founder of the design studio formquadrat. He lives and works in Linz, Austria. He studied Industrial Design at the University of Art and Industrial Design Linz and at the Art Center College of Design (Switzerland), graduating with honors and receiving the Austrian Federal Ministry’s Award of Excellence.

He works with international industrial and technology brands including Agilox, B\&R, BWT, Fronius, MEIKO, Magna, Palfinger, Rosenbauer, Swarovski Optik and Trodat.

His work focuses on brand, ergonomics, technology and user-centered design of physical products and digital interfaces. Projects developed under his direction have received more than 100 national and international design awards, including the Austrian State Prize for Design and the RED DOT “Best of the Best.”
