Each product tells almost 50 years of history linked to the artisanal tradition of upholstered furniture, which was born by the brothers De Marchi in 1976 in San Martino di Colle Umberto in the province of Treviso. The company evolves to date by joining Calligaris Group, which includes the brands Calligaris, Connubia, Ditre Italia, Luceplan and Fatboy.
Although it is now an important industry, Ditre Italia confirms year after year an attitude to detail and craftsmanship that distinguishes its collections.
Yesterday’s story is today’s uniqueness.

Originally, our focus at Studio Spessotto was on graphic design, but we soon moved into product design after gaining experience in our first few years in business. We’re a team of professionals focused on creating objects that appeal, defined by design strategy that directly involves brand communication right from the start. Our aim is to seize new business opportunities in our fast-paced world, offering products that work for today’s target market and modern lifestyle.

They tell me that I am the intellectual part of the study. In fact, even at the risk of becoming a serial hoarder, I keep everything that is “editorial”
I love the smell of printed paper, it’s no coincidence that I’m the graphic mind of the studio. My favorite reading is essays and art criticism.
I do not despise, whenever possible, designing products with historical meanings and references. I make sure that the image between product and communication is coherent and solid over time.
