The Jammertal leisure complex, offering visitors facilities for a variety of year-round activities and sports, has been completed within the renowned Prague park Folimanka, situated on the border of Vinohrady, Nusle, and Nové Město. Alongside the basketball hall of the USK Prague club and the Nusel Bridge, it now stands as another prominent feature of this popular park. The architectural design of the complex was created by Jana Mastíková from LOXIA studio, covering a total area of just under 5.000 m2 and completed in August 2022.
The design aimed to revitalize an underused area under the Nusel Bridge, transforming it into an attractive public space in the form of a leisure complex offering year-round activities and sports facilities. It is envisioned as a place where all Prague residents, not just those in the immediate vicinity, can enjoy spending their leisure time. A neglected area, dormant for years, has finally sprung to life.
