Hollmén Reuter Sandman Architects, Finland

Architects Saija Hollmén (1970), Jenni Reuter (1972), and Helena Sandman (1972) began working together in 1995 when they designed a women’s center in Senegal. They work on a wide variety of projects – from interior design to urban planning – in Finland and several African countries.
They approach innovation through research. By studying the landscape, gaining detailed knowledge of materials and making specific interventions, they create new architecture. They have received several national and international awards for their work, which has also been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions.

All members also appear as guest lecturers and critics and teach at the Helsinki University of Technology.
