Francisco Mangado is a professor in the postgraduate program in architectural design in Navarra and a guest professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale in Lausanne.

His most notable works include the cultural center and church in Thiene (Italy), the auditorium and convention center in Pamplona, Place Pey Berland in Bordeaux, the archaeological museum in Vitoria, the soccer stadium in Palencia, and the Spanish pavilion at the 2008 International Exhibition in Zaragoza.
