He graduated in 1991, obtained his master’s degree in 2004 and doctorate in 2008 at the Faculty of Architecture in Sarajevo, where he has been employed since 1999. He is continuously engaged in the transformation of the curriculum with a focus on connecting the educational program with the practical experiences of future architects. He is active in various governing bodies of the University of Sarajevo as the president of the Group of Technical Sciences and dean, and he contributed to the recognition of the specificity of the educational process at the Faculty of Architecture. He initiated the manifestation “Archipraxis” in order to incorporate the real challenges of the architectural profession into the curriculum. During the dean’s mandate, he was engaged in improving the infrastructure of the Faculty and Institute, as a basis for the realization of numerous international and domestic interdisciplinary scientific research and professional projects, in which he often took the role of author, co-author or coordinator.
