As part of the KOCles project (Competence Center for the Development of Human Resources in Wood Industry), students participated in a workshop for the company Podgorje, d. o. o. The project involved 11 students from the Interior Design and Design Management programs, organized into five groups. Their task was to redesign the existing Action trailer.

The students visited the production facility and became familiar with wood processing technology and wooden materials in a direct work environment. They received a well-prepared project brief from the company, presented by a mentor. The students focused on designing the interior for three target groups: seniors with pets, young families, and digital nomads. For the two prospective students, designing for the specific needs of different target groups, especially the bathroom, presented a unique challenge as they considered how to ensure comfort and functionality in a minimal space without wet floors after using the shower.

Both candidates demonstrated exceptional readiness to work in addition to their academic obligations, significantly contributing added value to the faculty during their studies. Anamarija established herself as a highly active president of the Student Council, while Brina A. Lukić stood out for her proactivity in both domestic and international workshops at the Faculty of Design.

The activity was funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia and the Directorate for Wood Industry.
