Bjarne Mastenbroek

SeARCH Architects, the Netherlands

SeARCH studio was founded in 2002 by Bjarne Mastenbroek and Ad Bogerman. Mastenbroek previously worked in the Van Gameren Mastenbroek project group, which had been part of Architectengroep in Amsterdam since 1993.

The group consists of 30 international architects, designers, and other employees. SeARCH develops architectural and urban projects and conducts research into architecture, landscape architecture, urbanism, and new building products and materials.

Their key projects include the Cultuurcluster museum, residential apartments, and studios in Enschede, the Netherlands; the Julianadorp school building in Den Helder; the Blok 5 apartments and shopping center in Almere, the Dutch embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and the Posbank pavilion in the national park in Rheden.
