Scorpios Bodrum is a boutique resort on Turkey’s Aegean coast that seamlessly blends nature, architecture, and human interaction into a sustainable retreat. The resort’s design is centered around the movement of sunlight, creating an immersive experience that spans from sunrise to sunset. The master plan, resembling a small Aegean village, features twelve island villas and diverse amenities, including a village square, reception, sports cabanas, beach decks, retail areas, and dining facilities.
Sustainability is a core consideration in the design of Scorpios Bodrum. The landscape design emphasizes plant biodiversity, incorporating local species and efficient irrigation systems that utilize recycled water from graywater systems. The commitment to sustainability extends to every aspect of the resort, from the extensive green roofs to the careful protection of green areas. As a result, the project has achieved LEED Platinum Certification, awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
