Since 2001, the Trend Institute has been granting the Slovenian awards for extraordinary achievements in various different areas of modern visual creativity ranging from contemporary art, architecture, photography and new media to fashion, graphic and product design. In addition, a jury of experts consisting of eminent curators, publicists and other professionals also grants an annual Lifetime Achievement Award.
