Korondi Arcso is a family business in Transylvania, with a 25-year history in the production and distribution of wood products in Romania and the surrounding countries. For the people of Transylvania, the closeness to nature is still very important today. We love wood and we have a long tradition
of woodworking. We can say that this is the origin of this enterprise, which has moved from traditional woodworking to modern CNC machining, constantly improving the production technology. Our timber products include traditional blockhouses, timber-framed houses and structures, unique public furniture and many other woodworking products. We also have extensive experience in custom projects where we can show the potential of wood, such as the dome shown here, whose curved glued laminated elements were individually developed in our workshop. The aim of our company is to carry on the traditional art of woodworking, the love of wood and to transform ancient knowledge into new forms with modern tools. Tibor Botond Tamás has a great practical knowledge in the field of woodworking: from carpentry to fine furniture making, he has tried his talents in many fields. His experience in manufacturing has been transferred to the field of computer-aided design in our company. He has more than 10 years of experience in computer-controlled machining design, production management and on-site construction. Jr. Ferenc Balázs, representing the young generation of the family business, deepened his knowledge of information technology in the field of wood production and manufacturing. The custom-developed software used for woodworking production has brought great precision and impetus to the tracking of production. He has also applied his IT skills to the optimisation of production and finishing processes, as well as in the areas of internet sales and marketing. In more than 10 years of operation, he has innovated, modernised and reinvigorated the company.
