Filip Dušek

Filip Mirbauer (*1990) is an acclaimed Czech product designer specializing in furniture, lighting, and home accessories. A graduate of the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in Pilsen (2015), Filip made a name for himself early in his career, with his first nomination for the National Award for Student Design in 2012. He has since been nominated twice for Czech Grand Design awards and won prestigious accolades such as the Red Dot Award in 2020 and the inaugural Veolia Sustainable Design Award at Designblok 2021.
Michal Strach (*1985), a graduate of the KOV Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague, is known for his interdisciplinary work across furniture, toys, jewelry, and conceptual objects that blend design and art. His work has been widely exhibited both in the Czech Republic and internationally, and he won the Designblok award in 2016, with multiple nominations for Czech Grand Design awards throughout his career.
Together, Filip Mirbauer and Michal Strach have been recognized for their innovative work in the Fleysen furniture collection, which earned them nominations for both the Czech Grand Design and Designblok awards.
