Nonconform ZT GmbH, Austria

Nonconform is an architecture and participatory planning practice, founded in 1999, in Vienna. Since then, our office has grown to six other locations in Austria and Germany. Why ‚nonconform‘? Because we never shy away from exploring new ways of thinking, because we are the first to question the status quo, because we use dialogue and collaborative processes to unlock existing potentials and find innovative solutions. In our understanding, architecture is not only about design and buildings. More importantly it is about the everyday life that they sustain, with its various dimensions and long-term aspects. We work together with heterogeneous stakeholders and the community to define integrated solutions for sustainable developments – from buildings and public spaces to larger scale infrastructures.
