Béres Architects was founded in 2008 by Attila Béres. Most of Béres Architects’ projects are small scale private buildings and are all tailored to fit their clients the best way possible. The key to good architecture is the ability of taking the right decisions – smart and rational thinking, foresight needs to be combined with the right choices of all the opportunities and impressions that surround us. Attila Béres is also a member of Saunders Architecture where he has been involved in more than 150 projects realized in different countries.

Niczky Apartment
A 400 years old house had been built on top of the outer wall of the moat. At the renovation of the apartment the main goal was to convert the unit into a guest house again and to recall and save the values of the house. By using simple solutions architects aimed to create clean and worthy spaces that reflect and highlight the medieval context. Most of the basement is opened to the small private garden. It acts as a filter space between inside and outside combining various functions for all four seasons such as a wine cellar, relaxation space, sauna and storage. The upper floor is framed by the given envelope of the exterior walls.
