Vladimir Djurovic Landscape Architecture, Lebanon
Of Montenegrin descent, Vladimir Djurovic was born in Lebanon in 1967 and pursued his studies abroad. He earned his undergraduate degree in Horticulture from Reading University in England and his master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the School of Environmental Design at the University of Georgia in the U.S. After working in the U.S. for several years, he returned to Lebanon in 1995 to establish his landscape architectural practice.
Since its inception, Vladimir Djurovic Landscape Architecture has been dedicated to creating landscapes that highlight the uniqueness of their environments with a simplicity that allows nature to take center stage. For nearly thirty years, Vladimir has worked closely with select clients and architects, developing a distinguished body of work worldwide.
More recently, he has shifted his focus to projects that address pressing environmental and social challenges—initiatives that collaborate with nature and promote a much-needed shift in how we engage with it.
Vladimir has lectured at institutions such as Imperial College and Harvard University and has received numerous awards, including the ASLA and the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
