Gramitherm®: Gramitherm® Insulating solutions

Bio-based thermal insulation material manufactured in Belgium (Sambreville). The production cycle uses regional resources to produce for local markets (short supply chains). Flexible insulation boards, density 40 kg/m³v. Suitable for new buildings and renovations, wooden structures, roofs, walls, indoor and outdoor areas. Natural, „waste”, local grass (from wetlands, canal margins, airports, nature reserves…). Primary raw material: grass Out of 1 ha of grass 200 m³ of Gramitherm® can be produced and 3 to 4 houses can be insulated.

About the brand

Gramitherm® is a patented Swiss technology that produces natural insulation boards from grass fibres. Gramitherm® is a new insulation biomaterial based on natural grass fibres that offers a negative carbon footprint (1 kg of Gramitherm stores 1.5 kg of CO2). Gramitherm® provides insulation against both winter cold and summer heat. Its fibrous construction absorbs noise and regulates humidity (recommended for longevity +50 years and comfort in humid areas). Gramitherm® is suitable for new buildings, as well as renovations, timber structures, roofs, walls. Indoor and outdoor as well. Gramitherm® is easy to install, non-irritating, non-toxic and 100% recyclable. Gramitherm® is a global concept: natural grass is almost everywhere and does not need to be cultivated.
