“Through my artwork, I engage in a process of analyzing past events and their significance, exploring how they have been retained in my memory and the associations they evoke. In my attempts to reconnect with something distant, lost, or absent from the material space, I utilize archival material to identify multiple and inconsistent meanings embedded within these memories, assembling fragments of imprecise images from the past that form a meaningful whole. The significance of archival material in my artistic practice prompts contemplation about the role of memories as a creative process, encompassing diverse foundations for interpreting the temporality of images.”
