Imola Balogh is a talented young furniture designer and architect from Hungary, currently based in Helsinki. She studied at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest and later continued her education at Aalto University in Helsinki. Imola designs furniture for Alkeis and also works as an industrial designer at Woamy. Her design philosophy revolves around unlocking the potential of raw materials by embracing their natural characteristics. By utilizing materials according to their innate properties, she creates environmentally friendly and efficient designs, with a strong focus on sustainability in both production and concept.
