Marija Ružić Vukmanić graduated at the School of Design, Zagreb, Croatia. After two years of freelance projects in the realm of furniture design she decides to join PES, a creative workshop dedicated to bringing unique metal objects to life. In 2017, as its Creative Director, she co-founds VAU. For her work Marija has been awarded numerous prestigious awards such as e.g. German Design Award, Red Dot Award and Interior Innovation Award.
Ivica Baraba graduated in Business at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, Germany. An executive role in AIESEC, the world’s largest youth-led NGO, first brings him to Spain and then to Croatia where he lives eve since. For 15 years now, he is co-leading PES, a creative workshop dedicated to bringing unique metal objects to life. Along with a few teammates, in 2017, he co-founds VAU, which he currently serves as Brand Manager.
