EDI SIMČIČ WINE ESTATE
„A wine story shall be devised, developed and refined only by means of a wine tree…“ – this is the beginning of our wine house description that can be found in a catalogue.
Although our tradition of wine bottling is not that long, the love for wine trees has been formed through many generations of the Simčič family who have always known how to listen to nature.
Since the first beginnings in 1989 when 2000 bottles were filled, our production has amounted to 60.000 bottles of wine, produced on 13 hectares, which have their wine lovers on all five continents.

Our offer includes a wide range of bottled wines, which have been divided into three lines:
– Basic line, which represents an entry point into the world of wines and it includes Pinot blanc, Triton, Duet Rose and Duet.
– LEX line which represents power and elegance and it comprises Rebula, Malvasia, Pinot gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Triton Lex, Duet lex
– SINGEL VINEYARDS line: Chardonnay KOZAN, Sauvigon FOJANA and Rebula FOJANA, which have been named after the village where our vineyard can be found. This line is distinguished by its refinement, mineral character and balance.

There are also two sweet wine varieties, which are considered to be a bit peculiar, namely white Edi’s selection and red Bosa rosa.

Since „true nobility lies in not being superior“.
