BIG SEE Awards were launched as regional awards to systematically explore and promote the creative and business potential of the Southeast Europe. With the ambition of connecting creativity beyond regional boundaries, they have outgrown regional frameworks and become international.
Nowadays BIG SEE Awards contribute to promotion of unique and original creative achievements in architecture, interior, wood, tourism, product and fashion design globally.
By winning an award the recipients have many possibilities to achieve international recognition of their work.

Process
Eligibility
The product / project has to be completed within the last two years.
- Investors, developers, contractors can also submit entries with the permission of the authors
- Entrants are allowed to submit multiple products / projects, but shall submit a separate entry form for each one, and pay a separate entry fee for each product / project.
- Only on time submitted products / projects with specified text description and images will be admitted to competition. Entries will not be accepted or judged without payment of the entry fee.
- Submitted products / projects must have been completed within the last two years the following categories:
Wooden houses
City and community (public and commercial wooden buildings)
Wooden Furniture
Wooden Products
Criteria & Judging
Products / Projects will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- excellence of architecture and/or design
- uniqueness, social responsibility, sustainability
- creative strength, passion and business excellence of Southeast Europe
Among winners of the BIG SEE Wood Design Award, Grand Prix winner in each category will be selected. The jury reserves the right to recategorise any entry to another category. The decision of the jury is final. The jury is not obliged to explain its decision.
Registration Fee
If the submitted product / project wins an award, the entrant is obligated to choose Winners’ package.
