Winners’ Circle

Established in 2018, BIG SEE Awards recognise excellence in Architecture, Interior Design, and Product Design. With entries from 76 countries, BIG SEE has become a global platform celebrating outstanding design, fostering international connections, and promoting innovative ideas.

Requirements

Submitted projects must have been completed within the last three years. Projects can be submitted by any of the following: authors, clients, suppliers, or contractors involved in the project. Entrants may submit multiple projects, but each project requires a separate entry form and payment of the entry fee.

To be considered for the competition, entries must be submitted before the registration deadline, along with a fully completed application form, all required visual materials (photos and/or videos), and payment of the registration fee. The project name must be final. Submissions must be in English.

Each entry must be accompanied by 6–15 high-resolution project photos, clearly labeled with the project and office name. These images will be used for print and web publication, so ensure they reflect the project’s quality.

A pro-forma invoice for the registration fee will be generated automatically. Entries will only be accepted upon payment of the registration fee. For bank transfers, the fee must be received within 8 days of submitting the registration form. Entries without confirmed payment will not be reviewed or judged. If a project receives an award in the 1st jurying circle, the cost of the Winner’s Package must be covered. Payment and confirmation of the package are required before any award benefits are issued.

Judging Criteria

The international jury of industry experts reviews the received applications based on the following qualities:

  • Ergonomics: User-friendliness, intuitiveness, comfort in use and ability to improve user experience.
  • Aesthetics: Visual quality, form, material choice, finish, and proportional balance.
  • Ethics: Social impact, cultural sensitivity and ethical responsibility in production practices and product use.
  • Ecology: Environmental responsibility in materials, long-term usability, repairability and footprint.
  • Emotion: Degree of emotional resonance and the ability to establish a lasting and meaningful connection with users.
  • Business Potential: Market relevance, innovation, differentiation within its category, and commercial viability.

Among the awarded entries, the jury will also select one Grand Prix winner per category. All jury decisions are final and not subject to appeal.

Evaluation Period: August 2026 – April 2027

The evaluation of submitted projects is ongoing and begins shortly after the complete application (fee + materials) is received. Rather than a fixed judging date, judgments are conducted in several cycles, depending on submission volume.

  • Winner Notification: Sent individually, on a rolling basis after evaluation.
  • Project publication advantage – curated projects will be featured online ahead of the official submission launch, increasing exposure and recognition.
  • Award Logo and Certificate: Issued at the end of October 2026

Entrants are required to pay the registration fee upon submission. This fee covers the cost of the judging process and varies depending on the submission period.

Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal through our official payment methods. Please ensure that payment is completed within the specified time frame to confirm participation and maintain eligibility for the award. Only payments made through the official accounts listed on our website will be recognized. Payments made through any other means will not be considered valid. Promotional Elements

Logo

Award recipients are granted the right to use the Award Logo for promotional purposes across digital and print channels. Displaying the logo strengthens credibility and visibility across all communications.

Certificate

Winners receive an official certificate in PDF format, formally recognising their achievement in the BIG SEE Awards competition. The certificate serves as a mark of excellence and can be used across digital and print communications.

Trophy

Award recipients will receive their trophies in person during the event. Postal delivery is not available.

Stage Presentation & Award

Winners are invited to present their awarded project live on stage in a concise 3-minute format, supported by up to 10 compelling slides.
Following your presentation, you will receive your award trophy on stage.

Photowall & Winning Moment

A photo session at the photo wall with your trophy, including a celebratory toast as a winner. You receive a selection of press-ready images for web, social, and media use.

Video

Your presentation on stage will be recorded and edited into a single shareable video. The final file is delivered in standard formats suitable for website and social use.

APPLICATION FORM

Do not forget to submit at least 6 high-resolution photos of your project (including the photographer’s name), vector-based plans (PDF, not JPG) and a portrait photo of the author or author team. Images will be used for print and web publication, so please ensure they reflect the project’s quality. The form must be completed in English.
