Design for children comes with its own distinct considerations: objects must be safe, they should stimulate creativity, and incorporate an educational element. They should also allow for various modes of use. For designers, these considerations present unique challenges, including the shapes, colors, and materials they employ, as well as accounting for the different ergonomics of children.

In Slovenia, we boast a range of high-quality designs for children. However, questions remain: How should we design for children? What sustainable materials are appropriate? How should we market these products? What are the modern trends in toys and children’s equipment? These inquiries continue to shape the future of child-centered design.
