The architectural studio plusminus30 was established in 2007, after winning the first prize in the architectural competition for the Rectory Offices of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Primorska in Koper.
The studio consists of Barbara Debevec (1975), Lara Melon (1975), Bernard Podboj (1974) and Jure Melon (1978). All members graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Ljubljana.
We design spaces of varying scale, focusing on the selection of indigenous materials, while linking tradition with technology. Our work is an iterative process between the clients’ wishes and design concepts, working with the financial budget and selected materials. The resulting solutions are in direct response to the local conditions.
