Inspiration: Different Species collection is inspired by cycles of change in nature, various organisms and their differences. Connection with nature is perceived distinctly by each person, just as Different Species collection brings out the uniqueness of its wearer. These pieces of wearable art are collaboration between the designer Ena Dujmovic and academic artists and printmakers Denis Haračić and Mirza Rahmanović, as a fusion of modern design and traditional printmaking which is a dying craft.
Every piece is handprinted in intaglio or relief print, from plates made by artists. The cross-sectoral collaboration between the designer and the printmaking artists is a driving force behind the brand that is envisioned for strong women. Plusminus brand is inspired by contrasts and duality that is ever present within us and the outside world. The brand aspires to empower the women to feel free to be who they are and embrace their unique beauty every day.
